Jean was the very heart of the on-line Berenger fans and was the co-founder of the Berenger On-line Discussion Group and co-editor of the monthly Newsletter.

She was Tom's biggest cheerleader--frequently posting positive words and reviews on various internet site like IMDb about Tom's recent work. She had the skills of a detective when it came to finding updated information on Tom, and would frequently find a "never-seen-before" film clip or photo to share in the group, or to pass on to me to share here on the web site or Facebook.

Two of the biggest highlights in her life were the opportunities she had to meet Tom in person. Once, in 1997 at the Lone Star Awards and secondly, at The One Man's Hero premiere in 1999. Her 3 children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew to never tease Jean about her admiration and support of Tom, and in fact, Tom and some of the Annual Berenger group gathering photos were displayed prominently at Jean's service recently in Texas.

She was an inspiration to us all who have known her for nearly 15 years. Her loss is immeasurable. We loved her like our own mom, and we were blessed to have had her in our lives to share a common bond in our respect for Tom, and to grow a deep friendship with an inspirational and wonderful woman. We'll never forget you, Jean. God Bless you and keep you.
